Countdown To New Years

New Years Eve is almost here. The year is almost over, and a new one is about to begin. Myself, this year I'm spending New Years with my family and my g/f. I travelling to my parents place where My Brother and Two sisters are already. I just have one more shift to get through after tonight.

This will be the first New Years my immediate family as spent together since we were kids. Which is rather amazing. I'm looking forward to the home cooking, the laughs, and the booze :)
My g/f and I spent nearly $80.00 between the two of us at the Liquor store yesterday, got a little of everything really. Some Beer, Some Coolers, Some Wine, Some "I can believe it's not champagne"... I just wanted something with a top I could Pop open right at midnight, I have no interest in drinking it *LOL*

Anyway, This will be my last entry of this year. It's been a good year, for the most part. There have been ups and downs just like any other year. But this year there were more ups than downs and that's a good thing I would hope. I'm looking forward to 2007, the g/f and I will be moving in together, starting a new chapter of our lives together, hopefully I'll progress to a different position at my current job, or at the least get a nice raise for all my hard work, and if I'm really lucky I'll get to visit with some people I haven't seen in a very long time, and you know who you are, although I know I say that every year, but hell, I'm saying it anyway :)

I have some new years resolutions, but they are simple. I want to get my ass back in the gym and knock off the 10lbs I put on since I started my new job, I want to try not to let stupid things bother my as much as they do, and try to manage my money a little better than I have in the past. (damn OCD) Anyway, that's it for me. I hope you all have a happy and safe new years eve, and all the best to everyone in 2007. :)
